Fiber Laser Cutting

High-precision fiber laser cutting for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. From prototype to production runs with tolerances as tight as ±0.05 mm.

Materials & Thickness Ranges

MaterialMinMax
Carbon steel0.5 mm20 mm
Stainless steel0.5 mm16 mm
Aluminum0.5 mm12 mm
Copper / Brass0.5 mm6 mm

Tolerances by Thickness

Thickness RangeTypical Tolerance
0.5–3 mm±0.05 mm
3–6 mm±0.10 mm
6–12 mm±0.15 mm
12–20 mm±0.20 mm

Edge Quality & Kerf

Fiber laser produces clean, oxide-free edges with minimal heat-affected zone. Typical kerf width: 0.15–0.25 mm depending on material and thickness.

Accepted File Formats

  • DXF: Preferred format for 2D cutting paths
  • DWG: AutoCAD native format
  • STEP / STP: 3D models (we extract flat patterns)

Why fiber laser over plasma?

  • Tolerances 10× tighter than plasma cutting
  • Cleaner edges: no secondary finishing needed
  • Fine detail and small hole capability
  • Less material waste due to narrower kerf
