PEM Fastener Insertion

Press-fit PEM fastener installation for sheet metal enclosures, panels, and brackets. Threaded studs, standoffs, and clinch nuts installed flush and permanently: no welding, no tapping, no loose hardware.

Fastener Types

Clinch Nuts

Self-clinching nuts (CLS, S, SP series) pressed into sheet metal to provide a permanent, load-bearing thread. Ideal for enclosure doors, covers, and access panels.

Studs & Pins

Self-clinching studs (FH, FHS series) for mounting PCBs, DIN rails, terminal blocks, and internal components without back-side access.

Standoffs

Blind and through standoffs (SO, BSO series) for PCB mounting, panel spacing, and stacked assemblies where controlled height is needed.

Applications

  • Electrical enclosures: door hinges, latches, and grounding studs
  • PCB and DIN rail mounting inside control cabinets
  • Rack-mount equipment with captive nuts
  • Panel-to-frame assembly without visible hardware
  • Telecom cabinets and server enclosures
  • Access panels and removable covers
  • EMI/RFI shielding enclosures
  • Any sheet metal assembly requiring flush, permanent threads

Why PEM Instead of Welded Studs or Tapped Holes?

  • Flush finish: no weld spatter or back-side protrusion
  • Stronger than tapped holes in thin sheet metal
  • Reusable threads that won't strip under repeated assembly
  • No heat distortion: critical for painted or coated panels
  • Installed after punching/laser, before bending: fits the production flow
  • Consistent torque values across the entire panel
